
Mexican Casserole
A reminder of the beautiful weather of Riviera Maya, and this in a beautiful Wednesday evening dish!

The cold weather in Quebec often pushes us to take a little trip to the south every year, which is why we wanted to remind you of this beautiful temperature in Riviera Maya, and in a beautiful Wednesday evening dish!
Ingredients :
- 500 ml of black beans
- 500g minced beef
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 2 diced tomatoes
- 100g grated marbled cheese
- 1 avocado, cut into quarters
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1 lime, cut into quarters (optional)
- 200 ml of corn
- Sour cream (desired amount)
- 2 tbsp. of “Les Mélangés” Spicy Spices
Preparation
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat with olive oil, add the onions, garlic, ground beef and “Les Mélangés” Hot Spices, and sear until the beef turns brown.
- Add the black beans, corn, and lime juice and continue cooking for a few minutes. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Place the entire contents of the pan into a baking dish.
- Place the cheese all over the dish.
- Bake for 10 minutes or until the cheese is golden brown. Remove from the oven.
- Scatter the tomatoes, avocados, lime wedges, and sour cream to taste.
- Serve on a plate with Tostitos-style chips (optional).
